Well personally I don’t like splicing into older cars wiring because it tends to make even more problems down the line and i wanted them wired independently so I could leave the normal high beams on constantly since they’re so dim. But I didn’t really want to put even more holes in the dash and since the alfa has a floor mounted windshield squirter pump that I never used, I figured the best idea would be a floor mounted switch.

yes, it was used on autodelta race cars back in the day

So then it trickled down into a common aesthetic mod for the road cars.

Awesome! And the floor mounted switch, so cool!! I have a set of 500FF’s on my B210. It really does improve the lighting situation in them old cars.

Yep, I have 4, and two more 1000FF on the foz. Lens is fluted rather than the back of the lamp. They are about the same as having another set of high beams. You can swap the 55w bulb for a 100w too if you beef up the harness.

I won’t tell you how the BajaDesigns do..
